Studio Tour: Sunken Treasure

Sophie Schellekens, the lovely lady behind Sunken Treasure, released her latest collection earlier this week. I’m not surprised, but her pieces are already selling out! Sophie’s gorgeous jewelry matches her amazing sunlit Antwerp studio.

“The main reason why we took this apartment was the big window in the back room. I immediately figured out this would make a perfect workspace: quiet, isolated from the noise of the city and flooded with daylight.

It all began with fun kitsch brooches and earrings and simple colorful necklaces. My style has been constantly growing. Everyday I keep getting inspired through blogs and what I see in stores these days. After discovering a whole new world of online DIY-shops like Etsy and Big Cartel, I felt an itch to start selling my stuff. It’s so fun to do and I get really excited to see people wearing my jewelry.”
